Dear all,

Schnark.home.blog has become somewhat congested of late,

As my waffle has proliferated,

And I fear that I waste the time

Of my very few, much valued readers.

I read through again and again,

Desperate to thin out the dross.

But I can’t seem to manage,

I cannot see the wheat

For the grass.

Perhaps I see relevance

Where there is none,

And perhaps I’d do better

To just breath

Deeply.

Yes, Deeply.

Definitely deeply.

I always want to go deep

In all things,

Perhaps too deep.

I speak in earn’st.

There was once an editor,

Part time perhaps.

She held other positions too,

Some full time,

And the vacancy of which I tell

Is only for this one.

—————

It can be paid

In kind,

Or in cash,

And it will be a service

To me, and to others.

I look forward to welcoming you to the team.

      But my blog has become very personal, and I get quite emotional, and feedback has been very thin of late.
      Sometimes I think crying in public is ok, but there has to be a limit.

  2. Oh man, good luck with that, S. Personally, I’m not sure you should try to “edit” yourself. I think emotions are good. But that’s me. As for crying–I definitely do that everywhere, lol. Public included, behind my sunglasses. 🙂

      Interesting, same advice twice over. But I think we all need to edit ourselves, not every thought needs uttering, not every event needs broadcasting. I guess I’m looking for a secondary check, and I guess a harsher advice might be grow up, take responsibility for your own shit.

      But thanks for seeing that I am serious.

      And on sunnies, I hope I don’t offend, but I find them really difficult, I find it hard to warm to people if I don’t see their eyes, which might be the point, maybe you don’t want people warming too much, and maybe that doesn’t count then as public?
